I'm from Townsend, a small town just south of Helena, Montana. At the moment, I'm in the Navy, living in Oak Harbor, Washington.  I've been involved in music my entire life. My father is a band teacher, so I guess it just follows that I would be musical as well. It certainly didn't hurt that my parents enrolled me in a professional boychoir when I was young. I didn't start writing music until my junior year in high school, but I haven't stopped since. Although I've had a dream of being a professional performer for as long as I can remember, sometimes life deals out cards that aren't quite what you want. In my case, I joined the Navy. Then I got married and had children. Then we were attacked on Sep. 11th, 2001, and I felt morally obligated to re-enlist. (Yes, I realize that sounds sappy, but it's the truth. Take it or leave it.) Well, now I'm a career military man, but that doesn't mean that I've stopped writing, playing, and singing. Neither does it mean that I've given up on trying to get my music heard. The methods have just changed.
